- Hi,
-
- There's no pin compatible 68000 wich have a built in chache. It's
- possible to add a cache on a 68000. ATARI did it with the MegaSTE
- which got a 16 MHz 68000 with 16Ko cache.
-
- If you want to add a cache by yourself, you should look for some
- application notes from SRAM manufracturers (such as IDT). It would
- gring you some starting points. You may not find something about
- the 68000 but all thing which works with a 68020 may be transposed
- to a 68000.
-
- Hope this helps.
-
- Jean-Marie.
